Old player of Battletech 2nd Ed. Naturally, Succession Wars are my favorite era. Clans Invasion is good too, but we were totally caught by surprise how powerful Clan Mechs are against the IS. Jaws were dropped when the Mad Cat & Thor just downed several IS Mechs so easily on TT. We like the new technology that makes things more interesting but it breaks the original feel of BT Mech fights, plus I couldn't remember too many new BT rules. So yea, Succession Wars.

Not to forget that we used the Unseens during that era. Nothing can beat that.

Jihad Era. Though 3145 is looking really interesting, especially with the Elstars.
