it activates even when under ground and there is no chance of missiles hitting you, perhaps we should be able to toggle it on and off?

Seriously, why can ams from enemy mech in the tunnel on Crimson Strait, fire through a mountain at my volley of LRMS at a enemy outside the tunnel? My gauss rifle, ac's and machine guns cant fire through a mountain, How did AMS get magic bullets?
