The One Thing That I Would Change About Lrm's

I am OK with the speed(wouldn't be sad to see the speed droped to 160 m/s but I can live with 175).. but I think that the smaller pods being able to create as much screen shake as they currently do is a bit.. much.

Note, this has nothing to do with damage... and I have no problem with LRM10, 15, or 20's creating significant level of screenshakes but LRM 5's, when chain fired, create a steady level of screenshake that has a significant impact in a fight above and well beyond the level of damage they do.

40% of the people on drops had lrm, ecm, ac5+ppc or if by chance driving anything else then obligatory narc+tag
the few matches we had ecm it was a fair fight, otherwise it was get narcd and die, no longer does light mech have to linger tagging you. that's for schmucks
oh btw, my first post was sarcasm, it's a parody of the responses a similar thread got.
just poking some fun
i agree with the shake thing.
today was a horrible day to play mwo. but i guess i had to do it because free mechbay.
since i don't drive ecm my stats plummeted to pathetic lows - oh well. i guess things will get better april fools

Read the sticky. The LRM shake is being reduced.

The shake is across the board, it is not dealing with the problem repeated hits by LRM 5's fired in chains to do the equivalent of the SSRM stun lock back in closed beta.

That deals with chain fired LRM5 very effectively. And buy the damn AMS range module already. It is actually one of the best range modules.

So I have the choice of shooting at the guy that I am face to face with(and who is giving the LRM boat target lock) and get rocked hard... or not fire, let the AMS deal with the streams of LRM 5 shots and get destroyed by the guy that I'm face to face with.
I do hope that you see the conundrum with saying that AMS is the solution.

I agree in general about the AMS and the AMS module. If you aren't in active combat, it is a great piece of gear. Once active combat starts, unless you have dedicated AMS providers(e.g. those willing to reduce their fire rate to give AMS coverage for the group.. good luck with that in a PUG), the usefulness of the AMS is significantly reduced with the way they currently work.

When your screen is shaking, normally you would panic and try to adjust the aim. here's a tip, don't do that, just shoot

Which is great.. as long as you aren't in a mobile battle... particularly a mobile battle in an area that has elevation changes.

Shoot at the spotter, or any damage dealing direct fire boats, and let the AMS with module deal with the rocker LRM5. Getting hit by LRMs is no excuse to stop firing.
And yes, go with your team. Incompetent as they are, they can be great meatshields. If you are caught isolated, then you are not pugging right.

And when they hit people, they wouldn't explode. They'd burst with fountains of heart shaped sparkles.
And when they are shot at you, b-betty would say, "Warning: Incoming cuddles!"
