I am really fed up with this.

Constantly getting 20% to 70% packet loss from

180.87.112.6
70.42.24.196

This is really unacceptable. Problems range from 'movement teleport', miss hit boxes, inability to hard lock, kick back to mech lab right after launch, DC in middle of game.

In other words, UNPLAYABLE at all!

Connection problems might not have anything to do with MWO. Your best bet is to contact support (no, this is not it), they might be able to track down where the issue lies.

Is there a reason why when my team chat is mapped to the default 'Y', pressing 'Y' doesn't bring up the team chat dialog? Same goes for 'T'. In other words, I can't chat at all in game although my config is mapped to those keys.

It was fine yesterday. Nothing have changed except massive packet loss.

Out of 10 games I launch in, only 1 is launched with serious lag. Rest of the 9 kicks me right back to mechlab.

This is getting very frustrating.

I have no problems with playing the game with the EXACT same hardware and settings for the past month.

You are unlikely to get any help here because nobody here has any sort of insight into what the MWO servers do and don't do.
Contact support via support ticket. Tell them what the problem is in a objective and calm manner and they might be able to help you.

Thanks but I have just stopped playing altogether.

I remembered when I encountered a similar problem previously I just login in the middle of the night (3am) and it was smooth.

I guess the hopeless routing just isn't meant for some people.

Hi, sorry if I'm asking stupid question.

Is the route that a packet takes determined by the ISP?

There is a route through 180.87.180.17 that is owned by TATA Communications Ltd that is consistently giving me problems when I connect to MWO game servers.

What can my next course of action be? Fire my ISP?
