can we tone this ac/mg flash down on the shadow hawks please, every time i fire its like Captain Avatar firing the Wave Motion Gun on Star Blazers, i see a pulsating blinding light thats going to send me into a siezer.

While I applaud the Star Blazers/Space Battleship Yamato reference, most players don't have an issue with the flash from the Shadowhawk's ballistics. I'd recommend tinkering with your graphics settings and dropping int he Testing Grounds to gauge their effects.

....or you could wear sunglasses while you play.

Nothing wrong here at all!
Who needs to be able to see while firing?

I keep my finger on the trigger of my AC2 in SHD-2H(P) constantly during heated combat. The split second flash does not bother me. I only stop firing when my heat scale protests too much or I've tapped out my ammo.

The problem isn't so bad with slow firing weapons, but I've found that the fast firing AC2 and MG's significantly reduce vision, making it rather difficult to track enemies who are constantly moving, or while I'm constantly moving. It also makes any accurate fire of specific components rather difficult too

Once again, I use the AC2, and I don't have such problems.

It's a tradeoff I gladly make for such an amazing hardpoint placement.
Think about all the stupid bellyguns and arm mounts that practically drag along the ground, the 'shawk is part of a very small club that can actually hit a target when they can see it.

If you want less muzzle flash, run a Hunchback.
The Hunchback has a specially designed "oversized" RH torso designed to reduce the blinding affects of ballistic muzzle flash (a suppressor of sorts)
. Sure you loose 5 tons and JJs, but a small price to pay to see...am I right?

I use Trip 2s on my shawk and have no problems hitting. Neither do my friends that use it, screen shots of full weapon muzzle flash is irrelevant.
