They never claimed SRM fixes... just "better visual hitdetection" for client+server (they would still be borked, but less buggy).

This Public Test is for the 2nd patch in April, not the 3rd patch (Launch Module).

All I give a damn about at the moment is hit detection fixes and balance changes. Everything else is pointless. Soooo the initial post was vague about tomorrow and the hit detection fixes. If there wasn't a line break I'd assume he means the 15th but there was... soooo...

The post is very specific; the Public Test includes tomorrow's patch AND the patch on the 15th.

They specifically say that the content for the patch on the 15th will include the fix for hits not registering when you see them hit. Thus, if you see the missiles hit the target, then they HIT the target.

And if it is so... we have to live with this soggy crap for two more weeks. No thanks. I can play other stuff 'til then.

It's very clear to see which patch will have which features.

They list what's going to be in on the 1st (tomorrow's patch) and then what is going to be in on the 15th. Not sure what the confusion is about.

Line breaks!

It is poor formatting for one. Only caring about hit registration is another. Matt Craig said they were shooting for April 1st for the server side stuff. I'm tired of waiting and I bet others are too.

Well, it could be worse.

We could have actual lurmaggeddon patches that pass through QA.

Public Test servers went live early so grab the test client and start playing, due to the early start player volume is low so head in and help knock down the wait times.
