I know where Incoming Missile stands, ( ) buy I'm interested in who else has a missile build they like for the Urbie '68?

I'm starting off with 2xMRM10 and 3ML, but I'm not sure I'm sold on it yet. I haven't run it enough yet to think I've got conclusive data yet.

Anybody got a SRM/Streak/other-MRM build they like on it?

I go 3ML, 2 SRM4s, end, DHS, light ferro I think on mine runs in the 90-97kph range I forget exactly- light engine. though it's a bit more wait til mid-match to dive in barring someone on the red team going off on their own.

Keep an eye on the stores- Urbies show up as salvage or (very rarely) a complete chassis.

I wish to address the trashcans and dumpsters of the CotU:

I recently had an epiphany regarding Medium-classed counterparts to the Urbie (blessed be his advent).

What mech was introduced in 2572, and had a rep for slow-paced, urban fighting?

That's right, the OG (okay 4G) Hunchie.

Urbie (see the symmetry of Hunchie and Urbie, as well?) arrived less than a century later, with the Annie (trifecta!) and Hunchie already having paved the way for a proper appreciation of the value of urban warfare.

I thought it was worth sharing the connections

BTW: UrbanTarget, are we going to pick a faction sometime now that contracts have been reset, or are we holding out for Urbie IIC?

Greetings urbanmech fans/cultists, i have not checked this forum since april. I was too depressed that the urbanmech IIC did not get announced. Glad to see that the urban mech is still geting love! 2011 pages and over 4,213 comments!

PGI thank you for bringing the urban mech to the game.

We all know the Capellans are the true caretakers of Urbanmechs - house Liao actually used them.

If we're not counting on Clanners being "Urbanized", the Horned Owl 2 would be nice with a humanoid profile and all those missile hardpoints. Commie IIC would probably have some nice PGI-introduced variants for brawling too.

To be fair, it's not like Liao has great options. They have to make the best of limited options. But If you're going to have limited options, Urbie's are the way to go!
