I was thinking of the name Clockwork Militia or something similar... I can see, in my head, a Merc unit with steampunk paint schemes and callsigns... just curious if there are any like-minded folks out there?

Don't see how it would work in any way shape or form given the tech in MWO is so beyond Steam Punk.

KageRyuu, it's not about the actual tech, it's about the spirit and the theme... imagine Merc pilots tooling around in skycaptain or clockwork-inventor gear... goggles, brass, gears, pipes, lab coats, pointy goatees, elbow-length rubber gloves, ladies in leather and bone corsets, knee-high buckled-up boots, gentlemans courtesy, cigars, top-hats, and stories by gaslight...
