Any possibility of this?
I wouldn't mind at times being able to just buy the mech shell with no items attached to it at a MC or C-bill discount over the loaded one.

Its been asked for a hundred times, I don't think its very likely considering the point of a F2P game is to make you play more to earn things.

They could at the very least sell the stripped chasis minus the sell price of all the componants on it to save you time. You still will be paying the exact same amount if you bought it and stripped it and sold all the parts, but if you are really strapped for cbills and have enough equipment to load it up, it will save a bit of time.
That and not having to go through your inventory to sell hundreds of MLs and HS.

Well it would end up with everyone being cheap stakes and buying an atlas K with the cheapest and slowest engine possible. Then the game would have trench warfare and tower mechs so slow that a push would be impossible, making it the most boring game in history.

I think after constantly losing and dieing over and over, they would upgrade the engine. Plus i see it more for the player that knows what they are doing but is a little short on cash or has enough equipment as is.

No it wouldnt. That is hilarious to say though.
I have plenty of engines, weapons and gear. It would allow people like me to buy the chassis and fill it only with the equipment I need to in order to optimize it.
PGI will probably not implement such an option though. Anything that reduces c-bill sinks indirectly nerfs the incentive for people to spend MC out of convenience....and that is their primary form of monetization I would wager.
