I've had the same error the last two days, was a small patch yesterday. Just loaded today and there's a 1674.74MB patch.

This monster patch seems to have fixed it, must be something added/changed surely for that size of patch.

I'm experiencing this issue as well, and I'm not seeing any 1.6 GB patch ready for downloading when I'm trying to start the client today?

That's odd, my client came straight up with the patch button. Any one else had to patch?

I get this error all the time and the game crashes constantly when tabbing now too. Doesn't matter if I'm windowed or not.

I found that my XPs are not being recorded with this error. In skills menu, mech XPs haven't gone up today after several matches.

I've just reloaded the launcher again since the patch earlier and the RSS feed is broken again ![;)](https://static.mwomercs.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.png)
That fix was short lived, lol

I reinstalled yesterday, still got the RSS feed error, but managed to play several games despite that...today, no such luck, I completed one game, then CTD from the mechlab when trying to ready up another mech.
What is this "omicron" file I keep seeing, does that have any useful information? Excerpt below:

Same issue here, though no gameplay issues. Just a nuisance for me at this point. Any help from DEVs?

FWIW, an uninstall / re-install did not rid the RSS Feed error, but at least I am able to drop in to and complete some games. And then in the mechlab this happens (CTD)

[Error] Error: CTexMan::ImagePreprocessing: Scaling of 'textures/particles/weapons/laser_beam_1x4_lop0.dds' compressed texture is dangerous (only single mip) [File=textures/particles/weapons/laser_beam_1x4_lop0.dds]

I get this, too, with CTDs from MechLab complaining about "Pure Function Calls" and some message about how "files cannot be created when they already exist" in the log.
