Sort of - those extra 2 missiles on the SRM 6 are the most spread out - but the first 4 are in pretty much the same places as the SRM4. Since the cooldown drop - SRM4s have became quite viable. (though of note - the heat to damage ratio isn't as good for the SRM4 as it is for the SRM6)
