How do I get rid of that annoying noise in Mechlab that gets generated whenever the cursor hovers above an option? It's starting to really drive me nuts.
If this is not possible, can PGI please provide an option to eliminate it?

Yes, this, please, for the love of god!
I literally cannot play at the moment with sound on in mechlab, since the constant noise gives me a sodding headache!
