Well, I went to upload the vids of our drops to YouTube, but they didn't take. For some reason that I can't cipher, I only have records of our audio - the visuals are just a black screen. It's like my capturing software didn't pick up the game - just our TS.

I'll work on getting it all sorted out so that it works next time!

Just dropped against Lord Curmudgeon and some of yer bilge rats! Argh! We swabbed the decks with three of them, but Curmudgeon ran and brought help. Argh! It was a close battle but in the end, yer Brethren flag still flew.

...It had some new holes in it though; argh!

Yeah, I really thought we had your group! We caught y'all spread out in the tunnel and smashed your flank. I was gunning for Curmudgeon, but he escaped. Then all our Pugs died and Curmudgeon led a great rally that crushed Jin-Roh (we were the last lance standing).

It was a terrific fight - very close right up to the end! I think that I've got the vid. If I do, I'll upload it for y'all's enjoyment.

If you're using the game capture feature in OBS to pick up MWO, you have to run OBS as an Administrator, otherwise it won't capture it. If you're using window capture (which is less quality), you don't need to do that. Possibly that was what happened?

Naw, I think I know what it is - this has happened once or twice before. The problem is that I have the original, default "Scene" available in the menu still. When I start it (I always run as Admin) I have to select the "MWO" setting I created. Otherwise, it just records the audio without the video. I'm pretty sure that's what happened this time too.

I suppose I should delete the default "Scene."

Or make sure you save that scene with the MWO option selected

Here's what my OBS looks like:



As you can see, I have the default "Scene" that comes with OBS. It has no Sources though. The problem is that I forget to select MWO when I go to play. It's boneheaded, I know. I just haven't taken the moment necessary to delete that default Scene.

The other one is for Star Wars: Republic Commandos. That's the game that gave me my nick, Nightmare.
