Happy Thanksgiving Breth'!

So I got an early Xmas present of sorts. My in-law's PC died and they switched to laptops. I mentioned awhile back that our monitor was slowly dying and they offered us theirs. I was expecting a clone replacement of ours and instead I got this...



A $450 frakkin 22".

So now that I have a way cool screen, I have questions.

I have been playing with my MWO settings and can only squeeze about 40FPS optimized. I am running a 3.55ghz I7e with a Nividia 650 video card. I have no real experience with overclocking and would love it if my fellow Brethren could give me advice on settings, tips, and what-not-to-do events.

Wow nice Bongo! You may want to put that question up on the hardware section of the forums or if you just want people in The Brethren to answer start a post on our forums. I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.

Sweet! That looks like an upgraded version of my own 22"; I'm so jealous!

I hope everyone in The Brethren and our friends outside of it had a terrific Thanksgiving! I'm enjoying a week off from school, even if I am sick. Against common sense and the doctor's wishes, I went hunting Wednesday morning in very wet, cold conditions. It was worth it though because I scored these:



It was pretty awesome, although I had to drag that buck about 3/4 miles through a bog. That was tiring after a bit. I shot the doe while I was dragging him out; happened across three of them, and she was stupid enough to stop and look at me instead of running like her two buddies.

I think getting soaking wet and cold made me a lot sicker, but, like I said, it was worth it! I'm on the mend now and am looking forward to doing more MechWarrior when I get back to college. For now, I'm still visiting with family and enjoying being home for a bit.

Good to be home and have my first shower in a week after camping in the Mojave Desert. My bags smell soooo bad. One of the best times of the year for me! Next up is to bathe my dogs, they smell worse than I did!

Argh I have been extremely unlucky with my internet disconnecting on me at random intervals. Television is doing the same thing too so I know it has to do with the cable company.

I hope to be able to get back into matches soon, especially since I have some premium time ticking!

Unfortunately, I cannot link my pics from desktop, so I upload them to my Enjin profile here: http://brethrenmwo.e...le/7595635/pics

Since you have a profile too, you should be able to host images on Enjin as well. All you have to do, is go to your Profile page, click "Photos" on the left hand sidebar, and then choose "Create Album" at the top right corner of the resulting window. I don't know how secure Enjin is or how reliable it will prove to be in the long run, so I only host images that I don't mind others seeing.

Other than that, I'm afraid that I can't help much.

By the way, the next time you post up a picture, if you want it to show in the post as a pic instead of a link, just hit that little, green square that's in between the hyperlink button and "code" angle brackets on the bottom row of the text tool bar in your reply window. That will let you plug in the URL of the photo, which makes it show within the actual post itself.
