The Brethren shared three drops with B B Wolfe during her NGNG stream last night. That was kind of cool. We went up against her once and teamed up with her twice. Congrats to Squirg for killing both her and her partner during the drop where we were on opposite teams. The Brethren were cleaning house last night for sure!

Hello everyone! I've been away for a bit but hope to be back on this weekend. I've just needed a break for a little bit but I would like to finish eliteing my Maulers before the Black Knight comes out next week. I do want to try out that 75 ton energy boat for some laser fun!

This Event is a bit frustrating. Between my inability to draw the maps I need, pug pilots who disco so they can hunt maps, and some pretty freaky headshot occurrences, it's a lot more difficult to get those 400 points scores than I anticipated!

Yeah, there were a couple times today where I had someone dead to rights as they were coming around a corner, and before I could even fire they headshotted me instantly. It was fishy, especially since I was in a Mech that isn't known for being an easy headshot target like some (Atlas comes to mind).

Really hoping they extend it. I had a match where three of my teammates didn't participate because they already had the map. When three folks quit at the start of the match, it's pretty hard to make a comeback.

Now that I am out of active premium I'll be taking a short break from the game a few days after the Black Knight is released. I'm going to do some vids with the Knight and then play some other games for a change.

Over the weekend I finished off Shovel Knights free DLC of Plague Knight and am enjoying playing Mario Maker a lot. People out there have made a lot of fun, interesting, or crazy hard levels that I love and hate lol.

I did not lol I need to see some walkthrough for it because what I have seen and read about it seems a bit overwhelming so far. I'll look more into it and see if I pick it up sometime later on.

The Black Knight comes out today. I'll be testing it out in the field when I can. I know I would like a nice IS 75 ton mech. The Orion is a bit of a let down for me so hopefully I will love the Knights and their energycentric nature.

Anyone have any Black Knight builds by any chance? It will be a hot mech but with a 360 engine rating I can move 85.5, have max armor, and have 8-9 medium lasers plus extra heat sinks.

That seems like a dumb build to me but hey maybe it would work lol.

It would be like a big HBK-4P.

Give me some time and I'll fiddle around in Smurfy to see what I can cook up. The Black Knight is an old favorite of mine.

Now that I have a few matches under my belt for the Black Knights I can easily say that at least without elites/basics I can only use them as short range medium laser boats.

The darn thing has energy hardpoints that are way too low kind of like an Atlas. So short range, fast moving, hard hitting mech it shall be!

I'm planning to run that same build as a big version of my HBK-4P. I also plan to run a similar one with MPLs as a big version of my TDR-5SS.

Did you get resistance 2 or waiting for the c-bill release?

I couldn't get the MPL build to work. It just didnt have as much range as the T-bolt did so it kinda fell a little flat. Although they are not basiced/elited yet so it might work after they are.

I plan to play the wub-wub build like I play my Grasshoppers; up close and personal! I expect my PSR to tank badly while leveling it, but once it Elites, I think it will be a good build. My Grasshoppers with LPLs and MPLs have proven to be very effective.
