Hey MechWarrior Community

My two buddies and I are starting a MechWarrior clan. We don't have a name for the clan yet but once we have one I will post the name on this thread. Our goal is to drop a 12v12 matches. We also have a mumble server setup, we will be getting a larger mumble server.

Any questions just ask them and I will answer them the best as I can.

If you want to join that's great, post a reply or something and I'll send you the mumble server info.

Most people who are looking to join a clan are looking for a Cannon clan. I know this isn't all true but you best bet if you would like to start up your own galaxy for a clan is to pick one from this list and learn a bit a bout them :] http://www.sarna.net...s#List_of_Clans though we already have quite a list of clans you can choose from which are just fine! I can't tell if you don't know much a bout battletech or not [I don't mean any offense!] But Clans are not like 'clans' in other games If you mean clans like in most mmo's ect. try creating a Unit instead. You could be a Merc Corp or find your allegience with some specific faction. Clans are really more of different factions that aren't implemented in the game yet but will be [ or should be ] Around Community Warefare. Try reading up on them on the link on Sarna make sure if you do decide to make a galaxy that it hasn't already been claimed by another group could make it a bit awkward! Cheers!

If you are not interested in any Canon Battletech Clan you may want to create your mercenary unit ("Merc corp") in the "Merc Corps - Outreach" section.

First I say great we need more clans,you should check out all the clans that are active and then choose one that is not. There are many home world clans that have no representation,when my buddy and I decided to do the same as you we chose Clan Coyote as they were not represented in the US. I also suggest teamspeak as more people use it then any other voice chat for this game. When you do decide what Clan you will be make sure you use a galaxy that does not actually exist. This is what I did so as not to have to change our name when they say you cannot use cannon.
