When I unlock skills I'm first asked if I'm really sure, and then I'm told that the efficiency skill is unlocked.
Are we really this dumb? If I go to skills, click unlock, choose XP type and then click unlock, then yes I do really want to do that. And I do also know doing so will actually unlock the skill to.
These kind of things are just anoying. Atleast have an dont show this again box.
Not a big problem, but adding up all the software and games trying to protect us from doing things we don't want to, this is actually a time consuming problem.

It's to confirm incase you're using GXP, but didn't want to use GXP.

Are you sure you want a "don't show this option again" checkbox to be added...?
Type "yes" to confirm, or "no" to cancel.

If they just removed the box that 'confirmed' the skill is unlocked, I'd be happy. That one makes it really annoying to try and unlock multiple skills at once.

You could think of the steps to unlock items and even purchase items as a redundancy for those who don't often read and just get click-happy... then complain they spent MCs or Cbills... much like spending GXP vs Pilot XP.

With the vast number of complaints from all types of software where there was no verification popup, tons of mistakes happened and caused all sorts of grief to developers, and I'm not talking just about MWO here, but all software in general that prompts users to verify their action.
This popup is simply for PGI and other software developers to cover their tushies.

I know.
But if I choose to remove the warnings, it is the same as accepting this extra risk of triggerhappy purchases mayhem .
