There's a button on the bottom right that says 'mech details', it gives you a full overview of the hardpoint layout and equipment

Also, smurfy would help with mech detailing and creating loadouts. Another thing is the purchase section in mechlab, click on the upper corner tab, and click on purchasable, this will show you all the mech's specs.

Note, this requires going into Mechlab (Not Store) and clicking Filter Owned and changing it to Filter Purchasable.

Now you can do what CyborgDragon said.

Oh, I didn't realise this only popped up when buying in the Mechlab, I thought it was included in the Store as well. Thanks for clarifying

That's what I get for never using the Store to buy mechs

Why would one go to 'store' to purchase a cbill mech?

Because I didn't know that what written below was possible. I thought buying mechs from mechlab was removed in UI 2.0.

Because it's standard fare in the US and Canada to go to the store to buy things.
Have you ever gone to your garage to buy a new car? ^_^

Not quite - but other than the big (relatively) expensive brand-name shops, most of the local car-shops do refer to themselves as garages.....

I can relate to that. Where i come from they don't call car-dealers garages, since all cars are imported.
First time i used UI 2 i noticed the purchase/owned tab while i was trying to filter out the trial mechs. Thought it looked obvious from then...

Hi JH, I had the same problem I got a couple of mech's I was not happy with. I took what I wanted (stripped them) and sold them, so not a total loss. Doing this I use the weapons etc to C if and how they work for me. I have seen you in battle and U R good. Unlike me I'm slow and old (over 60 in RL). I have gout in my hand and so when I find a few targets I guts start shooting and hope for the best. I love the game and starts playing with Crescent Hawks cane out. Still have Mech Warrior I and II. and love them were U command from 1 to a company. I also plaied BT table back when they were Lead mech's and still have mine (Bn- High Landers, Clan Ghost Bear) named after my spirit animal Kodiak bear (Blackfoot). Happy that I read this that U started, and honored to call U friend and Battle Buddy.

I agree it is very well hidden. I was confused at first aswell and if I hadn't asked on the forums I would have assumed that you are supposed to tell which weaponry you can use by looking at the minipreview pictures of the mech (:

The old interface you could take this.

And then do this. (You can't see it but there's a mouse highlighting "Hardpoints: Missile.")

Supposedly we'll see something like that in the future with the new one.
