3/3/3/3 is just a form of tonnage/weight class restriction in the upcoming Launch Module; it has nothing to do with solo/premade matching.

When launch module is released, they will separate the public queues into solo + groups (2-3-man)* and groups (4-man). 12-man groups will use the free private queues*...and groups of 5-11 will be required to use the premium private queues.

Then, within the two public queues, there will be two modes; Standard and Faction play. Faction play will restrict which mechs players can drop in based on their faction and will adhere closely to BT lore. This is where CW will take place.

All public queues and free private queues will adhere to the 3/3/3/3 restriction.

*Note: Only one group will be allowed on each team in the Solo + Group (2-3) queue.

Also, the free private matches will have c-bill and xp rewards just like public matches and will also affect your stats. They figure it's too hard to exploit with forced 12-man groups (or at least not worth it).

Premium private matches, however, will not have rewards because they would be too easy to exploit.
