The matchmaker is of course incredibly flawed, but I found another flaw...

Everytime I drop at Crimson it starts me at Sigma side during Conquest games. I can't remember the last time I started at Gamma side. Many patches ago, I'm sure.

Random. Sure it isn't.

You're not dropping on crimson straight extremely often (I assume) and every time it's a 50/50 chance on what side you'll be on. Random chance makes it entirely possible for you to start on one side very often.

I tend to get dropped on the high side of frozen city far more than the better low side, leading to that map being the only one I have a negative win/loss ratio on. But I understand that it's just random chance at work.

I get dropped on both sides of crimson very evenly.
