I had to stop playing after the mid March patch because of the Crashing issue. It was raising serious problems with Windows 7 and my hard drive with it happening after every match not just a crash but a freeze forcing me to do a hard restart every time.

First I want to thank AMD, Crucial and Microsoft tech support for helping me work through my system to help resolve some issues and get the Cry-engine to run better. Also Kudos's to PGI for correcting the end of match crash issue, this seemed to do the trick.

I played with my unit for the first time in a month with great success. Some things are getting better and once Crytek and AMD resolve the mantle issue I suspect the improvements will be even greater but that is outside of the control of PGI. AMD seems to think mid-summer for that change lets hope PGI is able to run the upgrade on this program.

So it looks like PGI is improving and not taking 2 steps forward and 3 back but maybe 1 step forward and zero steps back. This is a huge improvement and hold promise for the future. I hope PGI has now learned that they have to walk before they can run. That they are willing to accept the slow and steady approach. I am looking forward to playing MWO again.

Not so fast guys. I just launched into 4 games 2 of the games ran smooth the other two I was crashed out of total lock up again. But this time I could see some of what was going on with the GPU monitoring software I was given. both times you click to launch and it goes into searching then goes to black screen and connecting both times the connecting wheel disappeared and just black screen at the same time the GPU was maxed out as well as the Video memory was maxed out I am running on 1(took out the crossfire since it is not supported here) Radeon HD 7770 2gb DDR5. GPU and memory should never max on black screen guys you need to see what the server is doing in launch when it calls map before it visualizes it may be a map issue that is causing the disconnects. Wish I could tell you which one never got that far on both crashes. MY ping in the other two on launch once it settles was 25 and 28 so connection does not seem to be an issue and if connection failed GPU would not likely be maxed. Balls in your court PGI.
