This one's just a small gripe- IIRC, PGI skews newer (or especially brand new) maps to appear more frequently in random matches than older maps. This makes a lot of sense when the map is brand new and people are excited to play it, but can also lead to players feeling like they always land on one map over and over after the "new car smell" wears off. Looking at my stats over the last couple of weeks- I get dropped into Alpine, HPG, Tourmaline, Canyon Network, Crimson straight and Terra Therma about twice as often as any of the first 6 or 7 maps. (with the exception of Caustic, for some reason Caustic appears for me almost as frequently).
Since none of the maps are particularly new anymore, maybe the MM skew could be adjusted so that all the maps appear with roughly the same frequency?
Also, any word on new maps coming in the near future? Swampy-Jungle map maybe?

Right now the only issues with the maps is in assault mode.
River city, and River City Night because of the turrets the start points need to be changed back to Upper city to Lower city.
With the current state of turrets the deployment zones across from each other on the smallest part of the map people are just forming skirmish lines because they cant push fwd. do to 12 mech and 6 turrets its suicide. So it turns into one line of mechs fighting a line of mechs with the whole upper area unused.
I know they added back caustic and made it come up more frequently. A lot of times map selection is based on your map stats ELO like to keep things balanced at 1.00 so that might be a issue. The other is if you quickly drop back into the bucket you might get Terra a lot of times.
One thing I don't want to see is pick your own map start up because what happen people will just try to dominate that one map. That's why most First person shooters rotate the maps randomly. So can't just log in with your double gauss and dominate Alpine peaks.

I've played at least 20 games this past week and I still have never played the space map yet.

Those are my top four maps that I have dropped on since the stat reset. The following 2 number 5 and 6 combined do not equal the amount of times I have dropped on Caustic

Currently HPG is my single most played map after stat reset at 30
Crimson at 25
Caustic and Tourmaline each at 22
Luck of the draw I guess.....
HPG is slightly less then 15% of total games
