I find it surprising that you run an XL on the Orion, even more so that you do so while running SRMs. Perhaps you and I play different people, but I find that side torsos usually go long before the CT.

I probably spent more than I should have on grabbing an XL engine for a single build when I have so many other mechs that still need upgrades, but this thing is just too much fun. Not always the best, but when it shines it really shines.

PPC have defined the "Meta" in Mechwarrior games since Mech2.

In MWO - the "meta" tends to be whatever compliments the PPC best - and as the PPC and AC/5 have the same projectile speed.....

There are a few other mechs that can make good use of that engine - Cataphract 4-X probably being the least "joke" among them.
