That seems to be the message I am getting from the Fanboy's. "Just shut up and love what they produce."
Well, then why should PGI call them Clan mechs? Just call them all mechs and forget the lore and story behind the game. Just put the same old weapons on all the mechs. Rehash skins and camo.
Here is a novel idea. Why don't you just make up new mechs? Why rehash the old, embrace the new!
Let's see some new stuff, show us what you can do. Forget Inner Sphere and Clans, Just do what you want to do PGI.
Make some new mechs and weapons and see what sells and what doesn't. You clearly don't care what the community wants, except for a few die hard PGI zombies.
Show us what you can do.

timeless classic and most people know it, in fact the MWO Atlas was a good adaption MWO deserves an equally good madcat adaption.
Watch out, it might poke your eye out
I think this new madcat looks the goods, perhaps with a little fat shaved from the legs.
Clearly you do not agree. Each to their own, yes?

Because they are Clan mechs.
All of these:
...are Mad Cats. You like one more than other? No problem, but it's just your preference.

We aren't PGI zombies - I like MWO Mad Cat for exactly same reason that I like MWO Catapult, Atlas or Centurion. Because it finally looks like military vehicle.

I thought everybode knows how that stuff works.
Hold your hand on the leg in the front and see how the mech really looks.
Or just look at the other screenshots.
Other then that: If you dont like it, dont buy it.
The buyer sees what he sees. Its up to PGI to show us pictures that correctly represent the mech as we can't play with it yet.
That being said, the more I look at the better it looks.
This is probably the worst offender from the pictures. In my opinion the upper leg looks too big. Mind you I like the aesthetic, I'm coming at this from the hitbox side of things. But if you look at the far leg it looks fine. So maybe it is just perspective but it sure would be nice to get the 3/4 view shot from a higher vantage point to be sure.

I agree with you 100% that the first released screenshots were not a clever pick, but you know how it is

look at the centurion and other mechs. way off in scale. Curious to see how the other mechs look compared to the art work.

contradiction?
you might want to look up the word "exactly"
some people here are giving feedback (to PGI). they are not insulting anybody. The drama is made by comments like yours (which interestingly often contains aggression against the one giving the feedback... unlike the posts from the people in the opposite front). Don't worry, PGI is not going to revert back to the ugly 80's design nor they're gonna cancel the clan packages and take away the goodies because of our feedback. So relax, PGI wont give a d*mn.!
I would assume you are excluding yourself from the "some people", since you are insulting PGI and telling the person you quoted that he is the aggressive offender? "The opposite front" is not nearly as polite as you seem to think...

I'm a cheapskate, so this won't convince me to drop any money on a clan package, but I am looking forward to seeing these things on the battlefield when June rolls around.

Of them all this guy was my favorite.
Japanese Battletech. (1993)
Western Battletech. (TRO 3025)
They kept the description. Which the only descriptive factor was the Potbelly.
