Fix one - and another breaks - though this one "works" when I quoted you?

I would assume you are excluding yourself from the "some people", since you are insulting PGI and telling the person you quoted that he is the aggressive offender? "The opposite front" is not nearly as polite as you seem to think...

see, that is the point i'm trying to make.
Does it make a difference for you whether i am in that category or not?

There is feedback, and there are people who criticize the person giving the feedback.

So it is ok when you do it, but not when someone else does it? THAT is the point I am trying to make.

The mad cat / timberwolfs legs are near to identical with the catapults legs.

Symmetry is perfect. :)

I would call it similar rather than identical.
the catapult legs look more agile:

current legs on the madcat model is a little bit fat: (remember, it's a bottom-up view with slightly wide FOV... so the thigh actually appears (a little little bit) smaller than what it is.)
Posted Image

in my opinion it would be better if they could shrink the thighs somewhat like this quick edit:

I have to say I love this, it finally looks like a machine of war.
People who don't like it because it isn't like the classic look, I'm curious what would happen if they had scanned an Armorcast model and rigged it for the game. If you hit the torso, if would ether hit the huge cockpit, or the CT. You would not be able to hit the upper arm if you're moving at any real speed, or the legs. The missile pods would still go to the sides (because that's what it is in the TRO, you can't complain it isn't like the TRO and then complain the missiles are on the ST)
It would look completely out of place among the rest of the mechs already in the game.

As much as I love the original art, especially the Armorcast model, which has been linked quite a bit, that is not the look this game is going for, which has been known for years.

There is quite a bit of difference. Same style of leg, but lots of little nuances to differentiate them. I love them, personally, and can't wait to see the Prime versions that are more rounded!

Meh, never thought I would be disappointed by Timber Wolf's screenshot. Legs look disproportionally big on these pictures. No Clan Wolf insignia is also meh (quadruple meh, actually). PGI, are you sure you have folks common with BT lore and Clans Invasion story details?

With all the shit PGI has put us through. you are complaining about a missing insignia?

all in all I like the look of the mech. my only question is WHEN THE **** WILL I GET MINE DAMNIT?

When pre-ordered via Clan Collection you will get it on 17th of June.
It's currently unknown when it will become available with C-Bills.

Although last I heard they will be release two at the time. I don't know in what order but lets assume it will be in the last pack with the Warhawk.

I see people changing the proportions, making edits. Try using this as a base.

Watch out, it might poke your eye out :D

I think this new madcat looks the goods, perhaps with a little fat shaved from the legs.

Clearly you do not agree. Each to their own, yes?

yes each to their own and i think enough mud slinging has been done to get the point across. the overall design isn't so bad it's just details an extra inch here and a slice cut back there... we make these complaints because we see a good design but we're after perfection and with a subject as iconic as this mech it's seriously worth considering it everybody!

btw i'm mezmerised by those lazor glass ports, shiny round things! :)

I like the design of the timber wolf/madcat alot. I just find that its legs seem to take up 3/4 of its body. It just seems out of proportion.

My first impression is that this TImber Wolf does not look proportional. Legs seem to be too long/large and the body is too small.
Make the legs smaller but sturdier to make it look nice and proportional like the catapult.
