It's clear that there are many people with different needs and views when forms are concerned. I for one completely stopped visiting the forums after they broke it into a gazillion sub-forums. I liked the general forum because it gave a great overview of what was being discussed about the game on all topics. That was what was great about one big general forum.
Obviously that is not working for some people and it would be great if PGI were to find a solution and I just happen to think that I have one.
Why not give back all the sub-forums but create a "General" sub-forum that would work like the Popular Forum Topics on the front page but look like the full General Forum showing all of the threads from the other sub-forums in one place? The tag system you have now could serve to identify which sub-forum the threads are from.
That would make everyone happy.
