Could you please add back in the ability to see a mech's load out before buying. I am reduced to using a phone app to check load outs

Go into your Mechlab selection screen, change the filter (top left of menu area) from "Owned" mechs to "Purchasable" and you'll be able to mouse-over the Mech and see it's loadout, hardpoints, etc. (see above... he types faster apparently lol)

Hey,

You can see the mech's loadout on the purchaseable tab in the mech lab

Cheers,
BDA

You should not have to go to the mech lab to check specs, you should be able to see them in the store.

You should also be ejected from the Mech configuration screen when selecting "Check Out" but you don't lol... MWO is quirky

What about mechs with perks? XP perks, C-Bill perks, movement perks and that kind of stuff. Am I missing it or is there nowhere in the mech lab that tells you what perks a mech has?

Why does the mech store page even exist if we should buy from the "purchasable"-tab in the mechbay (=

You can also use the Mech Details button on any mech to show its loadout and configuration.

What you can't do, is see the hardpoint locations on a mech before you buy. That older hover function is still either missing or hidden from plain sight.

If you use the "purchasable"-filter option mentioned earlier you can also click on "Mech Details" in the lower right corner (as SpDmnAdam already pointed out), wich shows you hardpoint locations and such.

This UI is just way too convoluted. It is not intuitive if people have to post up on the forums to figure out how to see a mechs detains or even buy a mech... :)

Because of PGI's UI designer

Also, you will need this to play the game

Correct me if I am wrong, but the founders and phoenix mechs are all c-bill boosts? They show up with a C in the mechlab

lol I'm well aware of Smurfy mechlab... I use it for not spending cash right away and need to find an optimum loadout. I sometimes play around thought with the ingame version between a match if needed.
