Even in the 31st century, the Chameleon is widely used at academies and training cadres throughout the Inner Sphere.
In a Pinch they saw actual combat. I for one will balk on seeing this be a full time combat Mech.

Assuming we are at 3052 in the timeline and that no new equipment can/will be introduced in the mech lab in order to introduce new mechs then these would not be included.

Panther
Flea
Firefly
Dervish
Lancelot
Exterminator
Bombardier
Ostsol
Grand Dragon
Hatamoto Chi
Katana
Mauler
Hatchetman

All of those do not have at least 3 available variants at this time.

Additionally.

Ostscout. Uh. Why?? Some have NO weapons.

Lastly. It isn't worth the time and legal expense for MWO to bother much/at all with unseen units so you can expect none of those will come to pass.

I believe that the Ostscout also falls foul of Harmony Gold, other than that there is much Boo at the obsolette and no longer produced Dervish

The panther though has three variants

the 8 z, 9 r, and 10-k the 10k-2 might also be considered as most the variants in game have little corolation to the TRO manuals the customisation being far to lose to matter

Poor Panther is sooooo screwed by PGIs mech lab choices. Slow honking mech with limited (and homogenous) hardpoints, so totally outclassed by every other Light in the game. What can it do that the Jenner or FS9 can't already do better.

The lack of viability for mechs like the Panther, and the outright inferiority of the Wolfhound to the Firestarter, are very very much the best argument for why sized hardpoints were so crucial. Because being able to carry PPCs and such would have given them a niche. Since of course a bloody Locust can carry PPCs in this game, not much of a niche.
