No, cause not everyone would launch with an assault. Besides, it'd still be balanced.
I guess you could lower the weight threshold if it was that important that there be no 12 assault mech matches.

I suppose it depends on how many other people demand to run just assaults at a particular time.

The q time in MMORPGs for DPS is about 15 minutes. Because, they vastly outnumber the others. I don't see where this could be any differant. Unless, there are a lot less people that want to run Assault Mechs, after.

Probably closer to 20. Better find a lance to drop with so MM builds around you. I expect to see a lot of 3 assault/1 Heavy premade lances that are "trying to keep the firepower out of the hands of the pugs".
