Who says Gauss Jagers need to stay in the back lines? Get in there!
Comes with STD Engine. Wasn't expecting that were you? Ya pesky little Spider.

No one ever suspects it. Ironically, that's what I'm best at.

I do a skirmishing build running 4 medium lasers and 2 ppcs. It works surprisingly well.

Drop a DHS, upgrade to FF Armor, replace the engine with a 285 STD and then put the DHS back into it but engine mounted.
Also, you'll have enough tonnage left over to max the armor now.

Voila.

My god this is a great build, thank you.
It's so refreshing to be able to pack decent firepower into a JM and have a STD engine. Really pulls you back and makes you look at just how much people are shooting at your shoulders. I'm not one for Gauss (now with the charge, I'm rather inexperienced) but this makes me want to get used to it. Also took the advice Lukoi gave and put FF on there as well. FF&Endo???? Blasphemy!
Had about 3 duels yesterday with this build vs. enemy Jagermechs, all of whom went right for my side torsos, and all of whom were VERY surprised when they still got blasted to s**t after taking out a torso of mine. Their XL's did not fare too well.
