Is there a particular TS channel where we shall meet when our rounds are due, or do we just handle it trough the in game social options and lobbies?

I assume the judges/streamers will also be part of the drops. Will they create the lobbies for us, or the other way around?

I didn't see the info on this thread (though I might have missed it) and am not entirely sure on the actual process.

Didn't see a rule on consumables.... in specific, Strikes?

Is there anything specific or is it anything goes?

That was mentioned on the original announcement: http://mwomercs.com/...ip-4v4-tourney/

It was not copied here, it seems. Can you guys confirm 3 strikes per team per game is still the limit?

Also,

The rules say 6min matches.... match maker only allows for increments of 5... 10 being the shortest.

Last tournament we had moved to our starting positions and then had to start at a certain point of the match countdown timer.
Like team1 from minute 13 to minute 7
Team 2 from minute 6 to 0

Please excuse the delay, I have a few full days behind me and I didn´t quite got to updating the thread properly.
Now its only 6 hours till the start of the tournament and I have two quick updates for you guys.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The maps:
Since the launch module allows us to chose maps we will hold the matches of each round on three prechosen maps. In that way we can avoid the largeer maps and keep everything easy. The first two maps for every group in the first round will be the same, the third map will be chosen by the judges from a list of maps.
The maps for today are:
  • Match #1: Caustic Valley
  • Match #2: River City
  • Match #3: Frozen City, Frozen City Night, River City Night, HPG Manifold, Forrest Colony, Forrest Colony Snow, Crimson Straight, or Canyon Network.
Please note, Alpine Peaks, Terra Therma and Tourmaline Desert will NOT be played in the tournament.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All teams are required to be present on our teamspeak half an hour before their group starts, you will then get informations from the judges. Please follow the directions without hesitation to prevent unneccessary delays.

It seems I have not copied the rule in the new thread properly, my bad.
Strikes are limited to 3 per team and match.
UAV and Cool Shots are not limited.

Results of Saturday the 10th of may. Every team gets one point for each kill and additional two points for killing the whole opposing team. Allthough a few teams didn´t show up we consider the day as an success and we hope all participants had just as much fun as we had.
After a few withdrawls the groups #1 and #6 had no teams. Also in group #5 3 of the 4 teams didn´t show up, which brings the Skjaldborg team surrounding fluffypinkbunny to the next round unchallenged.

Teams that are written in bold have qualified for the next round on the 24th of may.

Group #2:
Dudesclub - Verteidiger des Teppichs: 15 Points
The Templars Team A: 11 Points
SR25 Spec Ops: 7 Points
The Fangs of Fenris: 3 Points

Group #3:
Boots and Pants: 15 Points
Discovery Channel: 13 Points
Mechanized Hussars: 3 Points
Skjaldborg Fiskarsmurfen: 3 Points

Group #4:
Templars Team B: 12 Points
Thundering Bacon: 11 Points
1st RDR Sons of Muspel #2: 7 Points
4th Regulan Hussars: 2 Points

Group #5:
Skjaldborg #2 fluffypinkbunny: 12 Points
Misfits: forfeit
Biggaz Bois: forfeit
Antares Pirates: forfeit

A missed match counts as a loss, so at the moment Skjaldborg #2 is awarded 3 wins by forfeit.

Team Boots and Pants , I love the format and rules of engagement. The fights were fast and furious and nothing but technical. Everyone who played put up a good fight. Can't wait to see how the next round turns out.

Is there any recorded version of these rounds or was it just Twitch streamed? I didn't see a recorded version anywhere.

You can find the recordings of the streams here. We are trying to get a second stream up and running for the next round which would be with english commentary.

Was fun, although we need bigger engines to our mechs so that we can catch escaping/evading enemies better B)

We had a few teams that didn´t show up, which was expected.
That this particular team didn´t show up however was my mistake and they hopefully will be joining us in the next round.
