there's been some discussion as to allowing solo players to join group queues to fill out teams and how would be a good way to implement it

how about you pick 1 mech of your own from every weight class and put them on your group queue 'dropship'. when you sign up as a solo player in the group queue and you get dropped in a game, you are automatically put in a mech of the right weight class to balance out the game sides

if you don't have enough mechs to fill out the different weight classes of your group queue 'dropship' (or you like to be stubborn and not fill up your 'dropship' fully), then the chances of you joining the game might get greatly reduced if you don't have the required mech weight(s) for any particular game - people who don't have many mechs (beginners likely) should be advised that they are better off staying in the solo queue until they have more mechs. the advantage of this is it's more likely that experienced players will be joining the group queue and keeping the game competitiveness higher
