Will they give us four clan mechs to buy with C-Bills right away or are we going to only get one a month... basically starting with just one?
They may have announced something about this but I don't recall seeing it.

In fact, I don't know how they are going to balance Clan lights... Especially if you can't increase the speed on them.

The best we can hope for is that they allow the Clan ERPPC to do its TT damage and not incur ghost heat from only 2 of them fired simultaneously. Then, at the very least, a Puma could act as a baby energy-based Gausscat that can run at 106.7 kph (with speed tweak).

The heat system is so broken though... And Clan mechs rely heavily on energy builds. I just don't know how this is all going to work out...

I've heard conflicting reports about exactly what these 2 chassis will be - some people say that it will be 1 IS mech and 1 Clan mech (something I've read on the forums, I can't seem to find the original source).

PGI mentioned things like quirks for certain omnipods, i.e. pods that would seem inferior on paper might get a passive boost to some mech attribute so they're useful. Maybe, just maybe, the Adder Prime might get some kind of quirk to help out its arm energy weapons (preferably in terms of heat output). That's probably a longshot and wishful thinking, though. Might have to downgrade to ERLL and use the extra tonnage on DHS and/or some SSRMs.

Yeah that is what I recall. If we have to wait 8 months that's horse dung. Probably should start us off with four and then add one a month to build off of it.

June: Kit Fox and Nova
July: Summoner and Dire Wolf
August: Adder and Stormcrow
September: Timber Wolf and Warhawk
Why that order? Because that's the order of the Clan Collections. Makes sense, doesn't it?

The lights are slower, I'm expecting them to play more like the ER LL lights we have now we'll have to wait for something like the Firemoth for a more traditional light. Both have missiles so they can use the larger streaks for light defense. The other thing is I expect them to stick with the pack. The Clan deathball will be fast. The Dire Wolf and Warhawk will be the slowest at 52 and 70 respectively everything else should be 89 or faster.

I'll be quite pleased with a Nova in June. Far moreso than I would be a Timberwolf.
