I kind of am meh about that.
If there's nothing to apply LP to, what's the point of having it?
Now, are they being accrued (visibly active or not)? THAT'S my question. Hate to think of all that time I spent in the Phoenix Locust accounted for nothing other than developing a healthy hate for the Phoenix Locust.

Well, it'll have value "someday" (or never, you'll never know).
Even if you don't actively do it in the background, you can write a database script to count all matches since the release of the PP and do it that way. It would require extend patch day downtime to do all of the math/work.... assuming they've finally figured out "the value" of loyalty points after 2 years of planning.

Well, they "thought" of CW... two years ago. There's a chance someone accidentally threw away the napkin on the launch day party though...
That was their (non-Esport) position at the time.
But with everyone (everyone being NGNG) telling them how great Solaris 7 tournaments are going to be... meh... can't even finish that sentence.

With so many popular IS mechs already released and bought, it just feels that I won't be affected at all by CW. Since it seems that Clan mechs will not be available for me as a Marik player in Faction Warfare, that leaves only a small handful of mechs I would really be interested in (like King Crab, Bushwhacker, and Crab). I already either own the rest, or tried them and sold them. This is why getting CW in game should have been done as early as possible, even if they had to 're-do' it later.

From what I remember, they are not accumulating. They don't start being tallied until after they implement it. All you get is Locust Hate.

Sure, you can consider it as part of the whole, but that's kind of being intellectually dishonest.
So what you're saying is, expect Heffay to check it off the list the moment it drops

Well, in all fairness, UI 2.0 is here (going by your sig). it's not 90%, but for all intensive purposes, it's here.
CW on the other hand. Until it's AT LEAST MPBT: 3025, you can keep that one rolling

I saw a picture JUST like that
for CW
that was 90 days away
then I saw it again during OB
Then I saw it again at the launch
In other words?
I could make a power point presentation about how badass I'm going to make something too. I could do it for far less than what the guys at PGI are getting paid as well
