10/10 will post in this thread until the forums are broken or the K2 gets changed back. It was such a beautiful job of concept and modeling, there was a reason why it was the background for the forums and the icon of the game for so long. Can't imagine why it got changed to this.

All I can say is that if this is the future, I hope the visual pass on the Awesomes comes never. My poor poor Awesomes. :[

My vote for the return of larger than life PPCs....
Because:

PGI: 'Also, warhammer PPC's were a little bit out of line with comparative size of PPCs on other mechs, hence they have been resized.'

Just want to add the rest of the family - from the A1 to the C1 - I want the old models back, at least for all arm mounted guns (new PPCs in the side torso look awesome, though).

As much as I like the K2, those fat boxes on my lovely founders cat... can't stand that

The PPC model change upset me more than even the VCRs. I haven't even played a CPLT since before ghost heat was added, and I still want the old barrels back.

I guess that isn't surprising, since I want the entire 2012 build back... whatever.

Give the skinny PPC barrels to large lasers. It always bugged me how the LLs have the same appearance as SLs, and the people who like the new barrels could still have them.

You know, there are always moments where I think: Wouldn't it be nice if my Cataphract showed its actual loadout?

Then I recall what that change did to my K2 and realize that the thought was dumb.And it used to be my favorite ride in the beta days .

Yes, I also demand justice for the CPLT-K2.

The first Art definitely are Lyran made PPCs. Bigger is better! Not a fan of the skinny barrels.

I will throw my vote behind this motion.

Bring back the Big Barrelled PPC!
This was what I wanted when I started playing, having seen some artwork from CB.

Then I bought my own K2... Sadness ensued.

I would love to have the old PPC barrels back. I've not piloted my K2 much since the change. I'm afraid other mechs will laugh at the size of my PPCs. I know its not the size but how you use them that matters but my mech self esteem has suffered. I want to feel like a big mechwarrior with a big gun again.

IMHO PGI is missing a trick here... you want 'em back... how much? 10mill Cbills? 1000MC?

Call them "style packages" - you can buy them per weapon type, or per mech type and they allow you to swap and change between the "look" of the weapons. If you need a reason just say it reflects the manufacturer/model.

Look at Saints Row - half the DLC is just costumes - and DOTA2 it's ALL just visual! Is Valve making money out of it? Do bears do whoopsies in the woods?

This game has SOOOO much potential for non-game-affecting customization (purple lasers anyone?), as well as for balanced upgrades like Ablative armour (better against Lasers, worse for ballistics), headlights (help you see, but show your position), etc.,

I'm just amazed the bean counters haven't been force feeding us it already.
