Fresh from our two week contract tour with the FRR, The Carrion Crows recently took up another contract with the CLAN Jade Falcon - ostensibly as mere garrison troops for some unimportant backwater planet - we were expecting a restful posting - kick back and have a couple of beers down by the beach, that sort of thing.

Truth be told, fighting on the FRR front isn't always easy - they are having a hard time over there, surrounded by Clanners and all that - battles are hard, victories elusive - and always well earned.

How were we to know? How were we to know that just mere days after taking on this garrison duty, none other than the Khan of the Jade Falcon Clan himself would issue a challenge over the very planet that we were currently garrisoned on? They certainly didn't tell us that when we signed the deal... could it be the Khan had this little maneuver planned from the very beginning?

The next thing we know - FRR has blockaded the planet, and we are trapped there, while thousands of FRR battlemechs are raining down from the heavens.

Well we held the line - as that is what we were payed to do. We didn't do it alone, but we did do it throughout the entire initial attack phase - and now the Khan of Clan Jade Falcon himself has requested that our Unit flag fly over the planetary capital.

We understand that this action may have enraged many of our FRR allies and friends, but we were under contract - we had no choice but to do this thing. So you are going to have to bring in some heavy hitters of your own - well, you didn't expect the Jade Falcons to just give it to you without a fight?

Um mercs dont work for clans, and clans don't hire mercs..... this is just weird... you can run but you cant hide.

The Carrion Crows are a modern and fully equipped mercenary regiment, and currently we work for the Clans two weeks out of every month, and the Inner Sphere two weeks out of every month.

We feel it is important for the warrior to become fully versed in the very latest of combat technology... and the best way to do that is to actually fight with it.

It's as simple as that, if you are having any trouble locating us, it is perhaps because you are not going to where the action is.

Go there, and you will find us. We are always there.

It's a simple formula, if you want to keep up with us, you are going to have to earn it the hard way. Lengthen your own line, this is the only thing you need to do... and it is upon this road that your salvation can be found.

It is the way of the warrior.
