I know it's been mentioned elsewhere before, but I miss my force-feedback, so I'm trying to revive some interest in it. I am a joystick pilot using a MS Sidewinder Force-feedback 2. Yes, it's pretty old (going on 11 years now), but it still is the best stick I have ever owned and has never given me even 1 minute of trouble. The only other threads I could find are about how to get it working (I dunno, mine works fine without any tweaks or software, all buttons, correct mapping everything. Maybe cause it's one of the later USB ones). Still, it's definately not the only FF enabled stick out there. I remember when I played MW4 for the first time with my Sidewinder how amazing it was to feel the stick twitch from side to side every time my mechs foot touched ground, and how epic it felt when I fired an AC20 and could feel the recoil. It got to the point where I no longer even looked at the speed bar because I could estimate my speed based on the rate of the twitch. I also knew when i was in trouble or not based on how violently the stick would shake when i got hit by incoming fire. I would love to see this in MWO, with an option for on/off and a slider for intensity in settings. Things to consider:
1: That classic side to side twitch when walking.
2: Recoil when firing ballistic weaps, maybe high-frequency vibration for energy weaps.
3: Stick twitch/shake when hit by enemy fire. Useful if directional ie stick rocks left when hit by AC from the right etc.
4: Other effects such as shake/vibrate with JJs, impact from long falls etc.
I know it's no small task, but please consider this for a future update PGI.
Hopefully I'm not alone in this!

PS, my first poll post, so sorry if it's a screw-up...
