I'm using that loadout for the moment. The Protector is very funny to play, and very efficient. You can run it with XL engine if you're a skilled pilot and use a long range loadout. The torso monted energy hardpoint HAS to be a PPC, you can snipe decently with it, and this is what it has been place there. With an AC/10 and PPC in torso, it's the other best option for that mech.

Two LB10 are juste far more powerfull than a single AC/20. And lights are very scary when they see you. I brawl very decently with this loadout, when ennemys are wounded, i finish them very quickly.

You can made a lot of build with this amazing Orion =) I will recommand it if you can deal with the defaults of this chassis (left torso very big, CT is a bullet magnet, arms very low, difficult to use with XL... etc). I think this chassis is good for skilled pilot. It's more an assault than a heavy mech for the construction, agility and how to use it.

See you on battlefield!

I feel like you can run this mech with a lot of builds.. I enjoy bringing UAC5, LRM15/A and 3ML. It works great, have tons of ammo, nice range. I also like the AC20 builds, but most of the time I have a lot of fun running around with this one.
