Last night I paid attention and had the "hanged man" in 6 out of 8 games. I lost only one of the games, and it was not a match with the "man", and only once in a winning match did I feel like my damage output was not correct. The rest of the time it was on the money, bad or good, with what I expected. My lance was often on par with the best of the our team, or we were the deciding factor in the games. 4 were run with a light lance, 2 with heavies and mediums, and 2 with a mix of heavies and assaults. I am fairly sure that if this was a "bad omen" or ELO indicator for a losing match my experience would have been very different. My connection was solid, my ping fairly static around 70, and my system is far above MWO specs. Once I got a conquest map and the man appeared and lo and behold Kappa on Forest Colony had been MOVED! Maybe the little man did it.
I believe therefore that the upside down man is in fact a break dancer from the 1980's, come to "Pop it and Lock it" at the beginning of the match to remind all mechwarriors of the need to be "Ducking and Weaving", if we wish to be "Living The Dream". I shall aspire to therefore see the "Spinning Man" at the beginning of every match as I march into glory and battle.
