Well if i could try different OmniMechs, why not?
Sure, a Timberwolf would be the greatest honor to me, but i would not mind starting with a Stormcrow or Vulture
Later i could try a Shadow Cat and maybe a Mad Cat MKII if i get one.. And survive years of fighting

The timber wolf in the rock was not his usual Mech. He took it for hunting bandits. I do not remember him having a Stormcrow. The Executioner was his chassis of choice.

No? Uh, i thought it was. If i am not totally wrong, he fought in a Timberwolf on Tukayyid and during the Refusal War (at least during Khan Chistu's ambush). About the Stormcrow, nevermind, my mind switched names recalling the Great Refusal on Strana Mechty. It was definitely Kai Allard-Liao who was piloting a Stormcrow, while Vlad was piloting.. A Timberwolf?

Hm regarding the Widowmaker - you will see it in game at June 18th
Beta Chassis
Prime Arms
(Funny she died in a Dire Wolf A)
The only viable choices for hero mechs means that they can have what you can't have with the omni pods - for example JumpJets on the Timber Wolf
But regarding the "Loadouts" the protagonists are swichting really really fast -> For example Victor did start in a Dire Wolf A - but during the Civil War it looked more like a Dire Wolf B.
But it was never the official Dire Wolf Prometheus I'm pretty sure (although that would be a unique loadout)

Well sense of the Omnimechs is swapping loadout as needed, So somehow "Hero" mechs make rarely sense on Omnimechs, except from the name and unique camo.

Well it makes SOME sense. The Hero mechs may have some hard points unique to the other loadouts.

Or perhaps unique Omni slots, like combo Omni slots or something, idk. Regardless they`ll find a way to do it, I`m sure of that, money always talks.
