Got mine 15 minutes after i completed the challenge and the only thing i had to do was log out and back in.

Well, you are not missing out haha. That mech is baaaaaaad. The money is prolly a nice touch. But cbills are earned so quickly. Damn. I love those challenges and its pretty awesome of the devs. But not even 10 mil cbills would impress me. You get rich so quickly in this game. I got more cbills then I would know how to spend. 150 k a game is totally possible without premium time or a hero mech or what not.
And since the game is fun you play a few rounds and there you have it....you got tons of cash.
