So, here are the steps to shut off the Heavy Metal's music:

1.) Have Heavy Metal kill something
2.) While Heavy Metal's music is playing, kill it (the HM, that is)
3.) Enjoy.

Sorry, it was the first time I experienced that in-game, just a few minutes ago. Thought I'd share.

And thanks, PGI, for putting that kill switch (pun FULLY intended) in there. :)
