Yeah, there is a whole host of issues that come with it, though. Top mech is nearly undamageable. Almost impossible to shoot from up there. If the lower mech falls off a cliff, things tend to break off....

Atlas use a 150kph Raven and and run around the map, I bet lots of peeps wouldn't be to happy about that

MWLL had a Daishi riding on a Ryoken in several matches. That was....painful

As far as this happening, yes, it can happen in game. It is considered an exploit to purposefully use it. If you see it, report it to Support and let them settle the mess. (Screen shots/video help.)

shooting with any weapons but streaks and lrm's and your going to be extremely inaccurate if your locust is moving at speed

w2 ac 2 raven and i can't say it was effective besides for just riding a atlas for fun and not shooting back and again the enemy have a tough tough time shooting back at you so its sort of lose lose

yes i used to do this on atlas's for fun while dying most of the time moving at shootable atlas speeds though i didn't recognize it as a exploit at the time but now assault mechs using it as a super MASC made it clear its bs lol
