Or... Join/create a merc corp... and glean off these fatcats massive amount of excessive C-bills for yourself... while pledging yourself only to the hard earned C-bill and the men and women who fight by your side.
On a serious note to why you should or shouldn't join Steiner, there are plenty of good reasons for why you should join them (see above) but honestly there are 2 reasons to consider before jumping off into the piles of money they provide...
1) Look through any lore for Steiner... they have a tendancy for putting rich people's kids in charge of military operations and wonder where they went wrong
2) Although the steiner economy has been superior to the other successor states, their military is equally inferior.

inb4 hate mail: i'm not saying all steiner leaders are rich to the point of stupid, just more so than in some of the more militaristic successor states (see house davion or kurita)

In addition to the RP reasons, I don't believe we've tried to rip each other apart on the forums yet. Good crowd here.

We are a good crowd here as Silent Monk so rightly points out.

And that points to solidarity. We are one house, one spirit, one goal, ONE STEINER!

Eventually we align with Clan jadefalcon as allies..Need we say more :(. Anyone curious if we are getting our flag ship mechs if this is before clan tech...Umm our favorite mechs of choice were Victors,Awsomes, and Cyclops.. If they plan to do it they might as well do it right those are designs Steiner leaders piloted most. Wonder if the Grey Death legion is still around at this point.

Where did you get that impression from? Steiner's signature mechs right now are the Griffin, Warhammer, Zeus, Banshee and Atlas. We don't even BUILD the Victor or the Awesome.
