Did you install it in the mech, after purchasing it with C-Bills?

If yes, then You should know that seismic works when you are stationary.

Hope that helps.

The first minute-ish of this demonstrates Seismic.

Watch the minimap.

You need to be standing still, and it's range is not as great as it once was. Check your minimap for red pings.

On the note of what Redshift said, I remember when the Seismic Sensor module had a greater range AND you didn't need to be standing still. Despite these changes, I still personally recommend this module and I use it ALL the time. (So don't try sneaking up on me, 99% of the time it won't work!)

Are you sure you installed it?

Also, remember, you have to stand still, and wait for the enemy to be within 180 meters. It also only detects them if they are moving, if they stand still they won't show up. I also don't think it detects enemies mid-flight as they are not touching the ground.

So it falls to you to warn them quickly.

Best line is usually
"seismic 4" or something like that if you get 4 pings and want to do it quickly

Be clear about that last part, too. If you just call it out, and someone fails to see the red arrows on their map, they'll think you're losing your mind (or worse).

Call it out as SEISMIC, though, and they're a little more likely to understand why you're calling contact where there's no red arrow.
