Seriously? I love pretty much everything about the design. The cockpit is amazing to fight from, and has this really cool WWII bomber aesthetic to it. The thing is nimble like a PPC packing ballerina, and jumps for weeks. The overall architecture is one of the most detailed since CB, and IDK, I really do think it is about the best chassis released yet. About the only knock is I wish it had the armored vambrace on the left arm like the Wolverine does.

(though the old K2 with beefy PPCs and the HBK are right up there with it)

I can spend hours in the Mechlab just repainting it, lol.

Which mech in MWO makes you a little weak in the knees? And why?

Jenner. It's cute, sexy, round, and a great "ball of hate". What more could you ask for?

makes me feel like I'm driving a mack truck, lol! (of course their curiously mediocre handling probably adds to that feel, sigh)

Just wait until someone starts posting peter griffin images. Lol.
I wouldn't say it's sexy [I just find that a weird thing to say about objects in general] but it has arm shields, it doesn't look like a kitbash of other mechs, it has a unique head, it has interesting feet with those two backward toes... so it does have a lot going for it in terms of aesthetics. BTW that camo spec in the OP is fabulous. My personal favourite in terms of appearance would be the mini ninja commando.

Locust (so wanted to love this 'Mech, but current "firepower is everything" game makes it fairly useless for its designed role), Spider, Jenner, Griffin, Wolverine, and Catapult.

Loving what we've seen of the Timber Wolf. Looking forward to the Kit Fox (even though it's a slug), Nova, Stormcrow, and Warhawk. Hopefully, there'll be some faster Clan lights eventually.

The arms shields make a great canvas for 'mech art. In your experience, do they block incoming fire when you torso twist as well? I've often wondered...

As far as sexiest mech, it has to be the Commando for me (with the Firestarter a close second since it's just a taller commando) The chassis is made of fantastic nimbleness and surgical precision while running at speeds that should make your eyes go into your skull and never come back out.

They do, the hit box extends to them I believe.

I would say their shield arm is better than a centurion's.
With most of their weapon in one side of the body, you get you use your arm + torso to absorb damage if you run STD engine.

My thoughts exactly. Needs a hood ornament to complete the experience.

The sexiest mech was the concept of the King Crab. The Griffin is a damn fine lookin' ride, though.

Yup, definitely love the Griffin, mainly because it relates the most back to the original, industrial humanoid designs of original BattleTech. That and the Locust; I just love that thing. It's useless as hell; but I make it a point to have a Locust
