On several occasions I have been attempting to use TAG on an enemy mech in an ECM field only for my LRMs to not achieve a lock. The reticle is red indicating the TAG is hitting the intended target and the target is within range of TAG. However, the target locking is not activating so I cannot direct fire my LRMs. I am running artemis too.

Tag will only get you lock if you Yourself are not under and enemy ECM. If an Enemy ECM mech can stay with in a 151-180m of you; Your screwed.

I was not in an ECM bubble either which is what is so confusing. Several guys I have played with have told me about the same problem.

Heck... I have even had difficulty achieving full lock without any hinderances. Sometimes the lock recticle will stay yellow and sit their spinning for a good 5 seconds within the target box before achieving a lock. And that is LOS too.

I've had this problem with and without TAG. It's made me think that it's ignoring my TAG and treating me as if I didn't have it. ECM has long been a part of MechWarrior, I have no problem with its existence as I own every ECM capable mech, but when I'm going up against it without having my own, I'd like to know that the other countermeasures against it are working properly. http://www.sarna.net...rdian_ECM_Suite And according to the Lore, next year (3052) the Draconis Combine will begin development of the Angel ECM suite, doubling the power of ECM units.
