you can't throw BV out the window because it regulates your alpha strike capability, which is basically the meta.

BattleValue is not linked to the weight of a weapon.

Take for example the Tripple AC 5 banshee....fires....at least 6 times in 10second frame. Or because there is no weapon that fires slower as one shot each 5second: 3shots

so - 15dmg per shot....3 shots per cycle - hm no range bracket....what about 18 short range a mabye BV of 890 points

i remove the head shot modifer (1.2) of >12dmg (you need 24 in MWO to apply it)

in comparison the 2 PPC 1 AC 20 build
1 AC 20....1shot in 5sec cyle with 20dmg and range of 9 (354)
2 PPC - as one weapon 1 shot in 5sec cycle with 20dmg range of 18 and energy weapon (495)

Buddy, you're not making any sense.

First, it's not 15 dmg per shot, it's 5.
Second, it's not 5sec cycle, it's 4.
Third, 3xAC/5 dps is on par with alpha capability of AC20+2xPPC. They're both insanely high.
Fourth, there is no dps when comparing alpha striking.
Fifth, BV is focused around total mech armament, as in its capability to alpha strike. Alpha strike is the current meta, therefore BV would work like a charm.
Sixth, what headshot modifier? Not to mention heads NEVER occur, unless the mech is standing still, or you're being hit by LRMs, which are not the subject here as they suck.

three AC 5 fired at once is 15dmg at optimum range.
that is a complete other story rather then 3 shots 5dmg each.

We could have had BV2.0 in its TT meaning back in closed beta but currently there are To many modifers that simple Don't fit.

The 1.2 modifer that I called heafdshot modifer is applied in bc2.0 to each weapon that is capable to saw of a mechs head with one shot. Currently the only weapon capable of is the Dual Gauss and Dual AC20.

Well not to mention the heat modifers for the offensive part of BV. Are 3xPPC 30 heat and with 15DHS heat neutral or do you have consider the 1.4 value for heatsinks and ghost heat - and still even with 23dhs you won't get heat neutral build.

If you want to make this discussion about BV2.0 and why it wont fit into MWO without dozens of modifications, you're welcome
