Well, i recently got an newsletter of "that other stompy robot game" out there,

and they did implement a few things, which i think would be nice for MWO too,
its only "sales" stuff, so not much about mechaniks or game modes to be seen here.


1.

Special "newby" packs,
that means, if you buy a Mech which is currently free to play,
you should get the Champion Variant that is offered PLUS the Gear to build the basic Variant.


Why do i think this would be usefull?

Because it would give a new player some Gear to swap arround from the go,
and allow him to play two versions of one chassis, learning a bit more about building his Mech,
and it would save up some C-bills for him, if anything, Money is hard enough to come by,
if you start out new, so handing them some extra Gear wouldnt be to bad, i think.

Plus, they could see the difference between a Stock variant and a Champion Variant for themself.


2.

Account wide Cammo Unlocks.

I think that one is really needed, maybe just a third T of Cammos,
firt beeing the one time use, second beeing the unlimited use, one chassis, third beeing
account wide.

Account wide could be more expensive then the one chassis, but the one chassis variants could get a bit lowered in the price department.

3.

(Basic) cammo patterns applicable to different locations.
For example:
Left arm woodland
Right arm city
Torso (as a whole) Dazzle


While i think, 3. would by chance be a tad to much work, given the current stuff thats allready in the pipe, but 1 and 2 would be a nice addition, wich, i think, would not require to much manpower to get done.
