I really see no reason to pay MC for normal mechs, even when they are 50% off
Reduce the C-Bill price for normal mechs along with the MC price.
I'm pretty sure some people will then buy premium account for a few days to grind the C-Bills, so there is someting in it for you too.

Dunno I actually really like my K, glad I bought it a week or so ago I run it more than my D and generally do better in it as well.
(Mind you not as much as I like my DDC but still! more than my RS or D)
Plus the Atlas-K like the Atlas-D shares the same advantage - the ability to keep fighting when both the left and right torsos have been destroyed - thanks to its centre torso energy hardpoints.

Hold on there, buddy. Slow down that logic train and think about what you're doing. This is faaaar too reasonable for these forums.
OK. I'm done trolling. But seriously, this is awesome and enlightening. Hopefully it will be noticed! Either way, I'm checking out more of Extra Credits' videos. Thanks!

Sadly they don't cover the f2p games that constantly assault you with advertisements to the point that you feel like your browsing a cheap porn site and should soon run your virus scanner to remove the thirty trojans you picked up checking out that pootang.
So far the two f2p games iv played that used a model I enjoyed have been Dungeons and Dragons Online (with the carrot and the stick approach) and Star Trek Online (Using their crack ******* approach, heres some free stuff! Iv got some nicer stuff in the back, but you'll have to work for it or pay a little extra to get it.)
MWO uses what my wife would refer to as "Something Shiney Syndrome", heavily relying on bold phrasing and time sensitive limitations to cause knee-jerk purchases (IE Founders mechs, Project Phoenix, Clan Invasion packs, Gold Khan Mechs, limited edition Grid Iron and of course the plethora of sales) which isn't exactly a bad thing but it has a heavy chance of backlash from people who regret impulse buying or those that feel like they are being milked like a proverbial cash cow.

I would like to have more than just the basic skills unlocked on my Founders Atlas, but I don't know if it's something I want to spend MC towards. I may just wait till I have more c-bills than I know what to do with... if that ever happens.

Can anyone confirm that this is the right prize? It still seems a little high to me.
